Everything you need to get started with SentiDesk.

Getting Started

Upload your data

Go to New Analysis and upload a CSV, TXT, PDF, or EMAIL file containing your customer conversations.

Configure analysis

Choose an analysis type and optionally set a custom focus area. SentiDesk will automatically detect conversations in your file.

Review results

View your analysis results including sentiment scores, topic distribution, key quotes, and AI-generated action items.

Analysis Types

Quick Summary

Fast overview of all conversations. Identifies key topics, overall sentiment, and generates high-level recommendations. Best for a quick initial look at your data.

Deep Dive

Comprehensive multi-stage analysis with detailed sentiment breakdown, promoter/detractor identification, and prioritized action items. Best for thorough analysis of smaller datasets.

Interaction Level

Analyzes each conversation individually with per-conversation sentiment, topic assignment, and specific recommendations. Best for large datasets where you need granular insights.

Supported File Formats

CSV

Structured data with one conversation per row. Configure column mapping during upload.

TXT

Plain text with role-based or delimiter-based conversation formatting.

PDF

PDF documents are parsed and segmented into conversations automatically.

EMAIL

Email thread files are parsed with sender/recipient detection.

AI Configuration

Configure how AI processes your data in AI Settings:

  • Topic Intelligence — Configure how topics are generated: let AI discover topics automatically (recommended) or match against a predefined topic list.
  • Topic Library — Define custom topic categories and keywords for predefined topic matching.
  • Model Selection — Choose which AI model to use for analysis.
